At Strive Health Services, our clinicians are the heart of everything we do. Through our Therapist Spotlight series, we love sharing the unique stories of our talented team. These dedicated professionals bring high-quality pediatric therapy directly into the homes of families across Central Texas.
Today, we are thrilled to introduce you to Gabrielle. Gabrielle is a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving the Georgetown community. Since joining our team in August 2024, she has played an invaluable role here. Specifically, she helps children find their voices and reach their milestones.
Gabrielle sat down to share her professional journey, what she loves most about working at Strive, and what makes our therapy team so special. Furthermore, she highlights the flexibility of working PRN in pediatric home health. Read on to discover what makes the Strive family so unique.
Finding the Right Career Path in Georgetown
Finding a career path that balances professional growth with personal lifestyle needs can be a challenge. Fortunately, the transition to Strive Health Services happened naturally for Gabrielle. Her journey began through trusted professional relationships.
“I had a close connection with a speech therapist on the team, Liz, who is the speech therapy lead here,” Gabrielle shares. Consequently, “Liz reached out regarding the opportunity. She made sure the position was feasible and supported my lifestyle.”
The Benefits of Flexible PRN Therapy Roles
Strive offers flexible scheduling options, including part-time and PRN (as-needed) positions. Therefore, Gabrielle can easily manage her own dedicated client caseload. Furthermore, she can step in to provide makeup services for other families.
This flexibility allows our therapists to deliver consistent, top-tier clinical care. Ultimately, they get to do this without sacrificing their own work-life balance.
What Makes the Strive Therapy Team Special?
For many clinicians, transitioning into home health can feel isolating without the right team. Because of this, we intentionally build a collaborative network at Strive. We ensure no therapist ever feels like they are on an island.
When asked what sets our organization apart, Gabrielle highlights our unique company culture. She emphasizes the balance between excellent client care and internal staff support:
“Strive is a company that focuses on growing company culture, but also ensuring their clients are well taken care of and provided for. I have had endless support since starting at Strive… they have helped me grow in my clinical skills and have helped me grow as a person.”
A Supportive Culture for Healthcare Professionals
From pediatric physical and occupational therapists to our administrative office staff, Strive operates as a unified team. This strong interdisciplinary support system empowers clinicians like Gabrielle to do their best work every day.
“Between the office staff, therapists, and other disciplines, Strive is truly an amazing company to work for,” says Gabrielle. “As a result, I couldn’t recommend anyone else.”
Whether we are celebrating a breakthrough in a speech session or collaborating across disciplines, our community is built on mutual respect. We share a deep passion for patient care.
